Full professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade (BSc (1989), MSc (1992) and PhD (1997), all at University of Belgrade). As Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow (2001-2002) he was postdoctoral researcher at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. His working experience in Germany includes R&D employment in Siemens AG (2004 – 2007), Power Transformers Division in Nuremberg, Germany, at a position of a specialist for cooling of power transformers. His main field of expertise is thermal aspects in power transformer engineering, where he did many R&D projects, worldwide consultancy and seminars. He did other R&D project related to grounding systems, power efficiency – compensation of reactive power and higher harmonics, insulation ageing, photovoltaic technique and automatic control. He likes challenges, solving essential problems, applying physical and mathematical modeling to get the result applicable in engineering practice. He is open-minded, strongly goal oriented and enjoy working with such people. He is leading a team of younger engineers and is thankful for their motivated hard and productive work, enabling his ideas to become reality used in engineering praxis.
